Implant treatment in the cosmetic zone remains a challenge and unfortunately not all dentists providing implant treatment have the depth of training and experince required in this field. As a consequence, patients do undergo implant treatments which fail or look unsightly. I went to Dr Young with an implant that was infected and very sore: this unhealthy implant was provided by a specialist in London. I was very anxious about being being in the dentist chair again. I had been to other specialists and asked for help but they were reluctant or nervous to help as the problem was serious.
From the first telephone conversation, Dr Young was open, friendly, calm, informative and willing to help me. He gave me clear concise information, outlined all my options in layman’s terms and was always ready to answer all my questions (and I had a lot of them!).
His team treated me with respect and a gentle kindness and level of professionalism that you rarely encounter: they made a crisis seem manageable. I had the infected implant removed and the gum and bone re-built by Dr Young, then a new implant placed and a new crown. I know I was a very difficult case but they did not falter.
All in all it was a marvelous experience and I now have my smile back. I would recommend Dr Young and his team to anyone and I am happy to answer any questions about my treatment.
